TRAKS – Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know where to go for a session I have booked onto?
Once you have sent of your booking form you will receive an email within 24 hours confirming that you are booked onto the relevant sessions. This will include where you need to go, and directions of how to get there. All the sessions will be taking place on the college lane campus so are generally easy to find.
What do I do if I can’t attend a session?
If you have booked onto a session that you are unable to make due to course work demands or illness etc, then please email traks@uhsu.co.ukASAP and we will try and book you onto the next available session.
What do I do with the TRAKS Workbooks that I receive at the end of the session?
Please keep hold of your workbooks. In order to receive your certificate we ask that you complete 4 of them (as you need to do 4 sessions to gain the certificate). It is also good to keep hold of them and keep them in your ‘Personal Portfolio’ alongside your certificate as it explains what you have learnt personally and academically from the sessions.
Once I have completed my 4 sessions when do I get my certificate?
You will receive your certificate during a TRAKS ‘Presentation Evening’ which is held in May alongside the volunteer recognition evening. The Vice Chancellor and the President of the Students Union will sign your certificate. You will receive an email nearer the time containing all the information regarding the event (date, time, location etc).
